No matter what anyone says, the thought and perception that woman dont want a strong alpha male like Massimo is a complete lie. We do! ALL women want a man whos an alpha male, who could be nasty to you but isnt, whos strong and sensual and loves you passionately. The movie is fantastic. They could have gone over the line with Massimos harsh control but tbh- its incredibly restrained compared to the book. Massimo is actually so in love with her (probably also IRL its pretty obvious. It shines through his mafia exterior and Michele Marrone portrays that beautifully. He has a very expressive face and expressive eyes that half the time he doesnt need dialogue. Again, so many people cant see the love story here just like they couldnt for 50 Shades. To me, its obvious. Laura is unhappy with Martin- and lets face it, who wouldnt be with a guy who wears a fanny bag and kisses like hes greeting his French poodle. Hes emotionally lazy and self absorbed. Hes as passionless and boring as a telegraph pole. Massimo is also unhappy, scouring the globe to find the woman in his visions and dreams that haunt him every time he closes his eyes. So yeah- haters and raging feminists can bugger off. Its an awesome movie ❤️❤️❤️.
